Mmm, December is here and with it the smell of the holidays.
Is there anything else that describes the holidays better than biscuit with honey?
To conjure up the December atmosphere at home, here is a recipe for homemade honey biscuits.
- 50 days of flour,
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 15 days of butter,
- 15 dag of powdered sugar,
- 2 eggs,
- 15 days of honey,
- A pinch of cinnamon.
From the listed ingredients, knead the dough and put it in a bag or foil. Leave the dough to rest for 1 hour or more in the refrigerator.
Then form balls of any size from the dough and place them in a baking dish lined with baking paper.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius, about 12 minutes. Baked and chilled then kept in a well-sealed container.
And a hint on how to start baking holiday honey biscuits:
Rotate your Christmas playlist, make Christmas tea or mulled wine and dance along.
The holidays will be as they are, and we have to make them glamorous and fun ourselves.
